Sorry, I never enjoyed Rob Deer as a Tiger. I grew up hating, mortally loathing the Brewers. So, when he came here with his big strikeout swing, I was very unhappy. But, I’m sure he’s a terrific individual, so Happy Birthday!

My dad used to call his time at the plate “the Rob Deer Whiff Watch”! He really lived up to that hype!
